HC2877 – Crescent Parquet

This Exotic Crescent Parquet is from Italian manufacturer Quadrolegno. A highly unusual and yet classic looking design, this flooring comes in a variety of woods although the two shown here are Wenge and Doussie (Darker) and Padauk and Doussie (Lighter).

As with all of Quadrolegno’s flooring, the attention to detail here is outstanding. As well as the stunning crescent pattern, great care has also been taken with the grain of the wood itself; ensuring that all of the grain is of a natural grade that is straight enough to work from the top of the design to the bottom. By doing this, the pattern and colour of the flooring seems to gain a movement or direction, highlighting the curvature of the design whilst really showing off the fact that this flooring is a natural product.
