HC7350 – Distressed Engineered Oak

This distressed engineered oak flooring is hand finished in Italy to the highest standards. Each plank has been painstakingly crafted to give the impression of age. Each natural knot and split sits like a little island on the surface and the wood around them is handworn producing this wonderful texture and making this beautiful flooring look authentically antique. This attention to detail results in one of the finest examples of distressed oak currently available. These distressed and aged Italian oak planks come in an oiled finish with bevelled edges. There are five other colours available in this range.

This Distressed White Grained Oak

A stunning Hand Distressed White Grained Oak from one of the worlds most exclusive manufacturers Listone Giordano. From their more traditional style Mareggiata range, this is one of the most convincingly old engineered floors available on the market today. Each of the planks has been fumed to give it darker than natural oak colour throughout the thickness of it's noble layer, they have then been stained to the correct tone and brushed for texture. The brushing process removes the lighter grain from the wood giving the worn look and feel of wood that has been trodden underfoot for countless years. The distressing itself is even tailored to the specific plank, meaning that each crack or gouge runs along a natural grain line as it would in reality. The wood has then been limed to give it the whitish grain that really allows the grain to stand out and highlight the natural quality of the oak. This flooring is beyond comparison with any other manufacturers attempt to create an authentic feel of age and as such lends itself to fitting in any room. The old look of the boards will look perfect in a variety of settings from rural or rustic old buildings to contemporary warehouse spaces, as can be seen in the pictures below.
